The 2022-2023 Season theme is "Power Play - about connecting circuits both autonomously and driver-controlled.

ITeams are evaluated not only on robot performance, but their STEM outreach, control system, an engineering notebook, and a concept FIRST robotics calls Gracious Professionalism.

The season starts with a challenge release like this one in the 2nd week of September, with competitions running from December to February.

FIRST Tech Challenge is open to students from 7th to 12th grade and teams can have up to 15 students.


Due to limited availability this ________ weekend, these wonderful hotels have offerings for our FTC Teams and Volunteers.

Concession sales of snacks and drinks will be provided. Coaches will be sent a link to pre-order food.

Volunteers are the key to inspiring today’s youth to become tomorrow’s innovators and technology leaders. A FTC Tournament needs 80 people to help in technical or non-technical ways. There is a volunteer role for you! Please directly contact the Event Coordinator to volunteer your enthusiasm and support!

FOOD - Volunteers are well-fed during this FTC Tournament. Here is what we are serving and when. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know. Friday Dinner - _____________; Saturday Breakfast - coffee, tea, juices, milk with Continental breakfast; Saturday Lunch - __________; Snacks and botttled water will be served throughout the day to keep volunteers energized!

UNIFORMS - Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. FIRST will supply volunteer shirts based on sign-up, tournament position and availabity. Please show your pride by wearing your business or organization shirt. Most importantly, please wear a hat...the crazier the bettter!
