About us

Organized and created by Ethan Bass, head coach of FTC Team 4924 "Red Beard Pandas" and VT engineering student, the New River Robotics Association Summer Camps aim to be an educational way for middle school-aged students to spend a week during the summer. These camps will be focused on applying what students have learned in classrooms to solve problems in a fun and collaborative way by building robots!

These camps will be taught by and supervised by college students with years of experience in robotics and teaching. Help will also be provided by students and mentors from the NRRA's FTC team, the Red Beard Pandas. We will hold pinnacle the ideas of safety, teamwork, and gracious professionalism as well as other core values learned in FIRST Robotics.
